AEOS — the Automation Engineering Operating System — is an API-driven orchestration platform that auto-generates electrical designs, controls software, robotics, vision, and HMI directly in your OEM tools. Standardize once. Generate repeatedly.
You know the cycle. Every project, every customer, every platform — and you are rebuilding from scratch. The tools exist, but nothing connects them. The result: engineering hours that eat your margins and timelines that frustrate your customers.
You are solving the same problems over and over. Every new project means rebuilding similar control logic, rewiring similar electrical designs, and re-creating similar HMI screens — across different vendor platforms. The work is predictable, but it still takes thousands of hours because there is no way to standardize and reuse it at scale.
Your engineering disciplines do not talk to each other. Mechanical design, electrical design, controls, robotics, and vision each live in their own silo. There is no automated pipeline between them — just manual handoffs, copy-paste workflows, and engineering hours lost to translation between tools that were never built to work together.
The Automation Engineering Operating System
AEOS is an API-driven orchestration platform that enables agentic engineering — the automated generation of electrical designs, controls software, robotics programs, vision configurations, and HMI across your entire engineering toolchain. One orchestrated pipeline. One set of standards. Repeatable output at scale.
AEOS does not replace your engineering tools. It connects them into a single automated workflow — so your team spends time on engineering decisions, not repetitive implementation.
AEOS enables agentic engineering, but it is not another agentic code generator. The output is precise and deterministic. Same input, same output — every time. 100% consistent quality, no matter how often you run it. This is engineered repeatability, not probabilistic generation.
AEOS automates the full engineering pipeline — from mechanical layout to deployable code — through a four-step orchestration workflow.
Start with your mechanical design. AEOS reads the layout and applies the naming conventions from your standardization models to establish the engineering baseline.
Based on the mechanical layout and naming conventions, AEOS generates the complete electrical design via API — fully autonomous, output delivered directly into the electrical design OEM's IDE.
A specialized language model analyzes the electrical design and determines the workflows required for controls and robotics — mapping each part of the production line to its intended function.
Based on your software models, AEOS auto-generates production-ready software for controls, robotics, and vision — including permissives, interlocks, and workflows — directly in the equipment OEM's IDE. HMI and visualization are also 100% generated.
Technical note: AEOS does not connect to live PLC data. It creates software directly in the equipment OEMs' IDEs. The generated output can then be tested and validated in simulation tools.
Whether you serve small manufacturers who lack their own standards or large enterprises in highly standardized industries, AEOS accelerates your delivery. Use the AEOS standard to get started immediately, or bring your own — we train our models with your data.
Standardize your engineering across your entire product line. Generate repeatable, production-ready software for every machine variant without rebuilding from scratch. Same quality, every build, every time.
AEOS is not for one-off engineering. If you need a single custom project with no intention to standardize or repeat, AEOS is not the right tool. AEOS is built for teams that want to engineer once and generate at scale.
Ready to transform how you deliver automation?
Join the WaitlistThe technology behind AEOS is not theoretical. It is already in use — generating real engineering deliverables for real customers. AEOS brings it together into one automated platform for the first time.
Electrical design engineering reduced from 22,000 hours to 800 hours in the cold storage industry.
HMI screens that previously took weeks of development are now generated in 30 minutes.
Multiple major automotive brands already use this technology, triggered manually in isolated workflows. AEOS automates the full pipeline — from layout to production-ready software — for the first time.

AEOS was born from a simple observation: small and medium-sized manufacturers cannot attract the integrators they need.
Years ago, our team at PITCO Engineering exhibited at the Automate show, hosted by the A3 — Association for Advancement in Automation — in Chicago. Dozens of SMB manufacturers came to our booth with the same frustration. They had talked to the larger integrators at the show, and no one wanted to work with them. They asked us if we would. We said yes.
Over the following two years, we visited dozens of small and medium-sized manufacturers across general manufacturing, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, battery production, and more. We found the same pattern everywhere: these companies are not ready for automation. They lack the planning, the standardization, and the internal project ownership that a successful automation project requires. They want results that amount to R&D projects but expect turnkey pricing and timelines. They have no realistic ROI expectations and no dedicated automation team on staff.
This is why 80% of first-time automation projects fail.
And it is why serious integrators and machine builders avoid these customers entirely.
We decided to change this. We launched the “Start with Standard” initiative — using our experience in automation to help manufacturers achieve automation readiness through planning, standardization, and training. And we built AEOS to make it economically viable — cutting the time and cost of custom automation engineering by up to 80%, so integrators can profitably serve the customers who need them most.
